Whether you work part time or full time, just punch in the number of hours you want to work per day, and happytodos will make sure to create a daily schedule with just enough tasks for you to finish that day. You can also mark what days you work Sunday through Saturday. Just go to Setting screen, check off your days and you’re done. This is a great way to plan your work load for yourself and your employees, especially if you work with outsourced team or hire on hourly basis.
Let’s say you have a project with about fifty tasks in it. Each task has estimated completion hours attached to it. Once you assign the task, it will be automatically scheduled for that assignee given into account the priority of the task and it’s project, current work load of the assignee and the number of working hours available. To you, the project manager, an estimated completion date will immediately be displayed next to the task, so you know exactly when the assignee will get to work on this task.
By default each new user starts with 8 hour work day. Increasing or decreasing your daily work hours will have immediate impact on schedules of all projects and tasks you are assigned to. You can also use this to work less hours a day since most of your working time is dedicated to performing actual work and not looking through your pile of tasks to see whats important for today, cross referencing deadlines and priorities or procrastinating on less important tasks.
happytodos Daily Work Scheduler does this work for you, presenting you with only most important tasks each day, and no more than you can handle. This allows focus and higher productivity.
